WHAT ABOUT STYLING? WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING AND WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
I like to customise maternity sessions as much as possible. After booking your session, we will discuss all the options, learn which images you love most, and figure out what I have in the studio and what you will need to bring.
I have a small studio wardrobe; most of the time, during maternity shoots, we use some items from my studio wardrobe and some that my clients bring.
My style is elegant, minimalistic and timeless. If you are looking for images with large tule gowns etc, I am not the right photographer for you
Does the session fee come with digital images ?
No, you do not receive any images with your booking fee.
The session fee secures your date and time, your 2-3 hour session and ordering and viewing appointment.
Digital files, albums and artwork are purchased after seeing your images at the viewing appointment , so you can choose exactly what you love.
How do I book?
It would be an honour to photograph your beautiful family. Simply fill out the contact form or email me directly at hello@meganfosterphotography.co.uk and I will be in touch within 48 hours to chat about all of the details involved in reserving your newborn session.
How Can I Become a Collective Member?
Becoming a Collective Member is simple and completely tailored to your family’s journey. You can choose from two beautiful membership options:
Option One:
Maternity, Newborn, and Milestone or Family, or Cake Smash — two sessions complimentary
Option Two:
Newborn, Milestone, and Cake Smash — one session complimentary
All sessions require a £100 booking fee each, which is deducted from the image collection purchased at your complimentary session. To receive your complimentary session(s), all sessions must be booked at the same time when joining the Collective.

Where will the photos take place?
Sessions take place in my beautiful studio, warm and cosy. Located in Hatfield , Hertfordshire.
I AM NOT COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA, AND I DON’T KNOW HOW TO POSE?
Most of my clients tell me this. Don’t worry; you’re in good hands. I will instruct and guide you into every pose, telling you exactly where to look, where to place your hands, etc. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, relaxed and empowered.
WHAT ABOUT HAIR AND MAKEUP?
You can arrange it yourself or I can book a hair and makeup artist to come to the studio.
CAN MY CHILD, PARTNER OR PET BE INCLUDED IN THE IMAGES?
Absolutely! We will discuss it all when we will plan your maternity session.
HOW LONG IS A MATERNITY SESSION?
Maternity sessions usually take 1.5-2 hours
WHEN IS BEST TO RESERVE A SESSION?
I recommend booking 1-2 months in advance; however, sometimes, I can accommodate last-minute bookings.
