Pricing at Megan Foster Photography
My session fee is £100 for weekday sessions and £150 for weekend sessions. This reserves your date and time in my beautiful natural light studio in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, conveniently located just off the M25 and easily accessible for families travelling from St Albans, Welwyn Garden City, Potters Bar, Cuffley, Enfield, Barnet, Watford, Harpenden and beyond.
Your session fee simply reserves your date and covers the photography experience itself. Once you’ve seen your finished gallery, you can choose the collection and artwork that feels right for your family.
After your session, you will be invited back to the studio for a personalised viewing and ordering appointment, usually one to two weeks later. This is where you will see your images for the first time, beautifully presented, and choose the collection that feels right for you, your home, and your budget.
My collections start from £600 and include a thoughtfully chosen combination of digital files and physical products. Digital image collections start from £400, framed wall art starts from £350, and heirloom albums start from £550. I also offer £50 studio credit when maternity and newborn sessions are booked together.

Every session is completely baby-led. There is never any rushing or pressure. We take breaks whenever your baby needs feeding, settling, or cuddles because their comfort and safety always come first. As a mum of three, I understand just how unpredictable those first few weeks can be.
Your baby’s comfort and safety will always come before getting a particular photograph, so I never force poses or rush the session.
Before your session, I’ll send you a detailed preparation guide so you know exactly what to expect. Afterwards, you’ll return to the studio for your personal viewing appointment, where we’ll enjoy your gallery together and choose the artwork that’s right for your family and your home.
